Elephant Rocks, Green Pool, Denmark, nr Albany

I am so in love with this part of the world, the colours of the rocks and shapes are so different & ancient. Those Elephant Rocks sure look like whales to me and Im told when the whales come with their babies in June they shelter here on their journey. So they must act as camouflage.

Tingle Trees, Walpole

On the way to Albany, beautiful Tingle Tree forest, with tree top walk high in the canopy. Preferred being on the ground with these magnificent trees, so big, people used to park there cars inside, as you do in WA.

Amazing Albany!

Back there again this weekend, 5 hours from Perth to drive but the air is so fresh, the ocean so blue and the feeling of a vast continent really hits you when you realise that the next country from here is Antartica! This really is the end of the world and somewhere I have always wanted to hang out, lucky the Oz grandparents live here now to babysit!

Sepilok Rainforest Lodge

This is exactly the same flower shape as in the film 'Avatar', the wispy, rainforest light spirits that float down. It was an incredibly strange experience to travel through the Rainforest with this film playing on the bus, the same themes of natures destruction to profit capitalism. It was a technicolour experience I will never forget.
